Annelie Joy Ceramics

Annelie throws pottery on the wheel to feel the clay move like a supple song under her fingers. Carved into freshly thrown pieces are the mountains and unfurling green life of the Willamette Valley that she calls home.
Mugs come off her pottery wheel most often because she crafts wares not just to enjoy with one's eyes, but with all the senses as one savors a favorite drink.
Annelie also has a deep love of horses, so clay often takes shape through her fingers as these frolicking figures.
Avie Meadows Studios

Avie makes ‘small batch’ graphic and functional ceramic plates, platters, and sculptural insects.
Much of her work focuses on bringing attention to the beauty and un-predictability of life. It offers an invitation to slow down and observe the little things, each other, and the food that nourishes us.

Debra hand builds functional and decorative ceramic pieces using primarily porcelain clay. She loves it when a functional piece is also beautiful!
With much of her work, she uses underglaze colors on the surfaces to depict elements of nature such as grasses or flowers, further distinguishing her work as
not monochrome. Debra continues to experiment with colors and textures to provide unique pieces.

Diana Rose Studio

Diana Rose Ryan fell in love with ceramics in 2002 while studying at the University of Oregon, where she learned how to make her own glazes and fire kilns.
She started teaching art in the Corvallis community in 2007 at the Corvallis Arts Center, OSU Craft Center and in the Corvallis School District. In 2018 She opened her home studio, Diana Rose Studio, where she teaches private classes in addition to creating her own artwork.
When not creating or teaching, Diana is helping support community art projects, community murals, showing mixed media and clay work monthly at The Nest Collective and organizing and showing work in the South Town Art Walk.

Michelle's passion for ceramics was ignited during the pandemic when her youngest daughter expressed a desire to take remote handbuilding classes together. This shared experience deepened their bond and opened a creative outlet that would become a significant part of Michelle's life.
​
Since embarking on her pottery journey in 2021, Michelle's creations reflect her commitment to both aesthetics and utility. Each piece is crafted with care, showcasing her unique style and attention to detail and blending functionality with artistic expression.
With every piece, Michelle hopes to inspire and bring joy through her artistry, celebrating the beauty of ceramics in everyday life.
Terre des Oules

Born and raised in France, Mag has lived and traveled around the world before moving to Corvallis in 2004, where her ceramics journey began. The pandemic made her realize how central ceramics is to her life, and led her to create “Terre des Oules” (loosely translated as “land of ceramics”).
​
Mag uses porcelain and colored clay to create functional and sculptural ceramic pieces. One technique she likes to use is the Nerikomi technique that allows her to create patterns directly in the clay.
​
Lately, Mag has been experimenting with the mobius strip, a shape with a single continuous side. In a world where everything seems black or white and people feel they must choose sides, this object symbolizes that it is OK to be on a continuum and that we’re all on the same side.
UV KERAMIK
UV KERAMIK features functional pottery, usable art pieces to enjoy in day-to-day life but, hopefully, too nice to hide in a cupboard.
Ute is a graphic designer by trade (semi-retired) and is grateful for 30 years of ‘being paid for playing with crayons.’ Her love for color translates well to working with clay, and her favorite part is glazing.
Ute enjoys working with colleagues and artists from other fields, and is the coordinator of the monthly 2nd Saturday Artisan Market at Common Fields.
