Gary is a lifelong woodworker who loves revealing Mother Nature's handiwork. He creates everything from toys to custom homes. Now he turns wood on a lathe, making wood bowls, platters, hand mirrors and art pieces that may incorporate semi-precious stones and epoxy resin.

Gary harvests his own wood from naturally fallen trees, processing the wood into turning blanks and finally turning the wood into bowls and platters.

Having always been enamored with figured wood, one day Darren set out to see what he could build with the abundance of wood supply in our area.

A veteran (with issues), Darren finds that woodworking helps to alleviate them. His woodworking journey began with a drive to learn how to create something beautiful from a natural resource (wood).

His inspiration comes from "Bourbon Moth Studios",  "Sawyer Designs" and "Padulla Studio".

Marvin & Margaret Jack personally design and make every wooden puzzle on their site. Their work is inspired by their travels and surrounding nature of the Pacific Northwest and places strong emphasis on design, safety, and quality in the puzzle-making process.

KidPuzzles was born when Marvin & Margaret started making puzzles for their own children as a young family in the early-mid 1980s. One thing led to another and their hobby grew into a living! Now their kids are grown, but they love helping others enrich the unique "puzzle-making stage" in a child's life.

Marvin & Margaret hope that recipients derive some of the same joys that they do in making and sharing their handmade wooden puzzles.
